about	IVLOS Institute of Education, a department of Utrecht University, provides teacher education, study skills training and services in the area of staff development and educational support, design and development. IVLOS also conducts education research and undertakes consultancy work for universities, colleges of higher education, government institutes and schools. IVLOS houses the Centre for ICT in Education which conducts research into e-learning as well as providing education support and services relating to the use of ICT in education. The director of the centre is Professor Dr. Robert Jan Simons. IVLOS has participated in a number of European projects. As well as working on development programmes with SMEs, IVLOS has experience and expertise in evaluating European projects and programmes.•
