We've continued to make steady progress on features and stability in Knotes. Version 0.85 is now available from our downloads area and from Sourceforge.
We've passed a milestone in knotes development: Version 0.8 beta is up on sourceforge, very considerably improved in usability, and seems to install and work well in a variety of Plone 2.0 and Plone 2.1 set-ups.

Our new web-logging and discussion plug-in product for Plone sites, knotes, is almost ready for public beta release. We are running weblogs and discussions in this site with it now if you want to see it in action.
In the next two weeks, we will be engaged in a serious review of the SIGOSSEE and smelearning sites to ee how they could be improved and made easier for members to participate in.
We have added an important feature to KNFastFolders: the ability to manage and participate in discussions entirely through the fast-folders / fast-forums interfaces.
We're making excellent progress on our blogging product for Plone. All the basics of blog-publishing and blog-navigation are in place, as well as support for the main APIs for managing weblogs from special clients.
We have completed a third round of testing and feature-improvement for KNDiscussion, our fast and flexible discussion system for Plone.
KnowNet has finally moved its website to a modern Plone site, making use of some of the enhancements we have added to Plone for our project sites.
