"The Met and the Home Office have launched a stalking investigation guide for police. The guide, written by Met Detective Inspector Hamish Brown, gives police guidance on how to investigate stalking and other harassment offences, and includes a section with advice for victims." Stalking - an investigators guide

This is a facinating guide, downloadable as a pdf by clicking on the link above.

Written by a Detective Inspector with the Met to inform and advise other officers on stalking and harrassment offences. This is a gem of a document and the advice to victims on pages 17 - 19 is excellent - "If you think you are being stalked, report your concerns to the police, no matter how trivial the harassment may seem to you."

From the site
"Met and the Home Office have launched a stalking investigation guide for police. The guide, written by Met Detective Inspector Hamish Brown, gives police guidance on how to investigate stalking and other harassment offences, and includes a section with advice for victims."

Detective Inspector Brown said: "In the course of my research I have seen at first hand the terrible distress to victims that stalking and harassment can cause. I hope that by publishing this guide for the police it will make a difference to all victims of this type of crime."
